Contract: Manage Massey University’s social channels and strategy for two months while a new Social Media Manager is recruited and inducted.

This contract required speedy understanding of the university, the way they communicate and the content they share. It needed swift relationship building with various stakeholders throughout New Zealand.
There was scope to develop new ideas too. I created a User Generated Content plan to encourage sharing of great, human images at Massey and a strategy to use Facebook Live for pre-enrolment questions.
The role was mainly based from home, given three campus locations, so video conferencing and swift email contact was the norm.
