Give: I give my time to support Common Unity in whatever way I can. I use my communications, marketing and innovation expertise to create solutions. I give my time to cook, prepare – anything they need!
Common Unity Aotearoa has urban farms across Lower Hutt which is uses to feed the community. On top of that, they have beehives and honey, a sustainable grocer, the Sew Good collective and a Koha Kitchen – producing meals purchased by the community. For every meal sold, the same nutritious meal is gifted to a child in our community.
So far, I have created a volunteer booking system and embedded it into their website. I have designed a marketing campaign to increase donations and to create a regular flow of volunteers.
