Did I do it right, Mum? Nothing like a hair whip in a national Park to get the weekend started 💦✨ Yep, I’m still reminiscing on our beautiful little trip south to Nelson for my sister’s wedding. I love being a tourist in my own country ☺️ but this time next week I’ll be hair flicking in another pretty beach...any guesses on where I’m heading? ☀️🌴🛫 Hope you’re all having a beautiful day! ☺️ . . . . . #wanderlust #nztourism #nzmustdo #happydays #abeltasmannationalpark #nelson #digitalnomadgirls #remoteworkers #islandlife #kindnessmatters #saltysoul #oceanlovers #shinyhappybloggers #wellnessblogger #dreamersanddoers #positivevibes #positivetribe #localtourist #nz #chattycaptioncommunity #glowup #goaldiggers #nobeerswhocares
I love the idea of giving if you have more than you need. Whether it’s money, time or in this case - plasma - giving just because you can feels pretty good 💛 My love cup was overflowing this Valentines Day so I thought I’d pop into @nzbloodservice for a plasma date💛💛💛 the coffee and cookies were on them 🥰 Carol, the lovely nurse who took this photo, is retiring after 22 years of service. I’ll miss her lovely smile and her distracting chat when she puts the needle in 💉 😜 it’s all the lovely people like Carol that make giving such a delight. 💛 Plasma is used to make over 13 life-saving blood products and the demand for it outweighs the amount donated. If you can donate, your plasma or blood would be welcomed with open arms! Do you donate blood or plasma? Or, have you considered it and have questions? 💉❤️ . . . #valentinesday #givingback #kindnessmatters #nzblood #blooddonation #plasmadonation #itscooltobekind #lovebreedslove
😃So Happy It’s Monday 😃 do you ever have those days where everything just goes to plan? Well today, that happened for me. I got up early and nailed my cardio, I ran a workshop in the morning and then caught up with a bunch of lovely friends in town. Then I went to the gym and got my weights done and got closer to a little goal I’ve set for myself 🙌🏽 I used to think Mondays were the worst, I dreaded them. But now, as weird as it seems, I look forward to them. It’s a fresh week and an opportunity to nail all the things I’d thought about over the weekend. Reframing Monday to a positive thing has meant for a great start to each week for me. So what are you happy about this Monday? 📸 : @clementinemcgregor in the beautiful Queen Charlotte Sounds 💜 #happymonday #newzealand #happydays
About 24 hours before these photos were taken, we were almost killed in a car accident. A woman pulled out to do a U-turn in front of our car in a 100km zone, I slammed on the brakes and hoped I had done enough to avoid the worst. We all saw our lives flash in front of us. While the car was a mess, thankfully, none of us were injured - perhaps our angels were looking out for us ✨ I got out of the car furious. How dare she be so careless with our lives! What was she thinking! Our family are supposed to be there walking the Abel Tasman together - shes just ruined that! Our poor family who were travelling behind us had to arrive and see the damage - an upsetting scene for anyone. Although I was angry and upset, I tried to tell myself there will be a lesson in this for me. After the Police did their thing, we got a new car and back on the journey - my head l was pounding and after the adrenaline had worn off, I felt emotional about what could’ve been. I didn’t really want to walk four hours in the heat but I did to clear my mind and change my negative mindset. By the end of our day walk, I felt for the woman that pulled out. We’ve all done mindless things, brain explosions. She was focused on getting her kid at school across the road and had a lapse. I also felt more thankful than I ever have to be alive - to be able to walk, enjoy the people around me and explore. I’m still a bit shaken by what happened but I’m grateful for the lessons it’s given me/us ❤️ Here’s to finding the lessons in all of our challenges! X #thankful #grateful #closecall
This little dreamy spot is in the Abel Tasman National Park. We trekked in for 3.5 hours on the most beautiful track then got picked up from the beach to stay on this floating backpackers. It’s my second stay here but it was just as breathtaking. There’s no reception so no remote work this time - just lots of good chats, swims and gazing at the beauty in front of us. So today I am grateful to be able to share these moments with friends and family and grateful to live so close to such beauty ❤️ #gratitude #wanderlust #nz #abeltasman
We took a plane, hired a car then drove two hours on winding roads to get to this little heaven on earth. We stare out at the ocean, in awe of the beauty. Sometimes the journey makes reaching the destination even sweeter 🍉 #newzealand #travel #grateful
